We Provide Solutions to Complex Problems
AERIUM combines traditional bird hazing techniques with the use of Clear Flight Solution’s Robird ® Ornithopter to provide next level wildlife management for airports. When this is combined with habitat data collection and analysis of hazing methods, it creates a highly effective SMART wildlife management solution.

Recent projects have shown a decrease in bird strikes of up to 71% at airport operations where AERIUM’s SMART wildlife solutions have been deployed.
Data collected from surface scans of runways, aprons, and taxiways can be used to inform operation staff timely information pertaining to FOD, Runway Markings and Signage, PAPI and Lighting variances and Airport Obstacle Identification.
The use of UAVs for the analysis reduces the number of times that these surfaces need to be closed for inspection and drastically increase the amount of data being provided as opposed to traditional methods (Visual Observation, etc).
INFRASTRUCTURE & MAINTENANCE ANALYSIS
UAS allows for both LiDAR and imagery data to be collected simultaneously for all surfaces in and around airports. This data is then combined to perform Pavement Condition Indexing, Runway Displacement Analysis, Surface drainage analysis (both airport wide and on specific surfaces) and Perimeter Fence/Rooftop Inspections to allow for a comprehensive report to plan for major infrastructure operations.
By integrating UAV and Machine Learning technology, highly detailed scans can be performed by AERIUM more often, at a reduced cost, to allow for predictive analysis and to schedule repairs/maintenance pro-actively.
As construction and development projects progress, the need to monitor change and progress becomes increasingly more important to ensure projects stay within timing and budgetary constraints. The use of UAS allows for this monitoring to be done rapidly and more safely in active work sites which also providing topographical and volumetric analysis.
AERIUM is capable of providing onsite, next-to-real-time processing and delivery of survey grade profiles, volumes and slopes analysis to allow for more informed operational decision to be made for construction projects of any scale.
